All orders are handled primarily through our website. You can find all Novus products on this website, including products which are obsolete and no longer available. There are numerous ways to find what you're looking for, but if you are struggling to find something, you can ask a member of staff using our support chat, or the enquiry form at the bottom of any page.
Finding Items
Any of our products can be found on the website using the search at the top of any page, filters to focus in on a certain product, or via the menus. To search for a product, select the search icon (magnifying glass) at the top of the page, and enter the name of the product you are looking for. Results will be listed below. Selecting any of these results will take you directly to the page for the selected product.
Selecting Options
For products with options, a blue button labelled "Order Online" will be shown. Selecting this will show you a series of selectable dropdown options for you to select the options you need. To select an option, click the dropdown box (shown with a dashed line underneath), select the option and press the blue arrow button to proceed. Once all options are selected, the quantity and price/add to cart button will be shown. Options can be reselected by selecting the blue link below the price/add to cart button.
Standalone products (without any selectable options) are shown straight away with the quantity selection, as well as the price/add to cart button.
Quantity
The quantity of units is shown as a numerical value with two circular buttons, labelled - and + on either side of it. Pressing the - button decreases the quantity by 1, whereas + increases the quantity by 1. Typically, the minimum quantity for any product is 1, however where an item has a minimum order quantity, this will be shown initially and you will not be able to select a quantity lower than this.
Adding items to Cart
When you've selected the options and quantity of a product you want, select the large blue button with the price (in £) and cart icon to add the item(s) to your cart. When you select this button, the items will be added to your cart and a message will be shown to confirm this.
The same item can be added to a cart multiple times. If the item already exists in the cart (with the same options where there is any), the new quantity will be added to the quantity currently in the cart. Otherwise a new listing will be made in the shopping cart.
Availability & Lead Time
When the quantity and price/add to cart button are visible (straight away for standard products, or after option selection for products with options), a message regarding stock availability and lead time is also shown. This provides an estimate of the time required for these items to be available to ship, and is updated when quantity is changed.
Cart Expiry
Cart contents are remembered for up to 30 days. After this, they will expire and need to be reselected.
Shopping Cart
The shopping cart can be opened at any time by selecting the blue shopping cart in the top right corner. This will make the shopping cart visible on the right edge of the page (or whole of the page for mobile users). Here you can see the products currently in the cart, with quantity and options, as well as the subtotal (excluding shipping and VAT), and the checkout button to proceed. The shopping cart can be closed again at any time by pressing the red 'x' at the top left of the panel.
An item in your shopping cart can be removed by pressing the
shown to the right of it's listing. When there is options, these can be viewed by pressing
for the listed product.
Checkout
To proceed to checkout, select the orange button marked "Checkout" at the bottom of the shopping cart. This will show the checkout page, where you can provide your invoice/delivery address, select the shipping method (and optional insurance) for the order, and provide a VAT registration number (where applicable).
Delivery/Invoice Address
To send an order and it's invoice to two different addresses, select the "Separate Invoice Address" toggle switch at the top right of the checkout page. This will show two separate forms for invoice and delivery address.
The minimum details required to complete checkout are:
- Name
- Country
- Postcode (enter 'none' where there is no postal code system)
- Address line (at least 1 line must be provided)
- Email
- Phone (either home phone or mobile)
Your email and phone number are validated to ensure they are in the right format, however these are not checked for accuracy. Please provide the correct details in here. We require your email and phone for contacting you in an unexpected emergency.
Purchase Orders
Purchase Orders are only accepted for orders valued above £1000. When requested, you should provide the following details:
- Product with part number, as shown on the product's webpage
- Full invoice and delivery company, receiver name and address
- Choice of shipping service (eligible for your country), see Shipping below
For orders placed via purchase order, we charge an additional £15 for UK orders or £30 for overseas orders. This is an administration charge for the additional work involved in processing the order.
You will receive a proforma invoice and instructions on how to pay for this order. Payments can be made by either Credit/Debit card (with a 2.5% supplement), cheque payment or direct bank transfer.
In all cases, ordered will only be sent on receipt of payment and stock availability.

We do not issue credit accounts.
