TxIsoRail

Description

The TxIsoRail DIN-rail mounting temperature transmitter is used to convert thermocouple or PT100 sensor outputs to an isolated industry-standard 2-wire 4-20mA signal or 0-10 Vdc signal.

The TxIsoRail is fully configurable by the end-user using the TxConfig adaptor and Windows software and is designed to  to accept most thermocouple types and PT100 RTDs.

• Power supply: 12 to 30 Vdc (18 to 30Vdc for 0-10V output version)
• Programmable input: thermocouple types J, K, T, N, E, R, S, B, and PT100 RTD
• 2-wire loop powered 4-20mA output
• Linearised output and cold junction compensation for thermocouples; 2 or 3-wire Pt100 with linearisation
• Programmable working range
• Manual frontal zero (offset) adjustment can be set using two keys
• Input digital filter can be selected for optimum 50 or 60Hz performance
• Accuracy: +-0.2% full scale for Pt100 and 0.3% max. of FS for thermocouples
• Temperature effect: 0.003% SPAN/ºC
• Isolation: 1500Vac between sensor input and 4-20mA output loop
• Working temperature: -40 to +85ºC
• Programmable burnout upscale or downscale sensor failure protection
• 35mm DIN-rail mountable

Re-Ranging

The TxRail is supplied ranged 0 to 1200ºC for a K-type thermocouple as default. If you require any other range we can reprogramme this for a £5 fee (select option above) - or alternatively you may wish to invest in the TxConfig adaptor and Windows software, which will allow you to totally configure and re-configure the instrument yourself.

Options

The TxRail is also available with an output range of 0 - 10Vdc. Use the buttons above to select if required.
