This microprocessor based data acquisition and recorder can handle any analogue input and will operate as an RTU linked to a PC for on line recording and supervision or as a stand alone data logger with real time clock and graph capabilities. DIN rail compatible, it has 8 universal channels that will accept different input sensors at the same time and can be easily expanded.

Configuration (retained on the logger in non-volatile memory) and data retrieval is achieved using a PC and the FieldChart configuration utility software (included and downloadable below). The Fieldlogger has a RS485 interface which allows communication up to 1Km.

The Fieldlogger also features 2 alarm relay channels which can be activated when any channel enters a programmed alarm condition.

This unit is generally used as a MODBUS RTU input device as part of a SCADA system (transmits channel data using MODBUS protocol). But for online reading and recording (history) the included software also reads and records a graph (for 10 minutes only) - if you need a more in depth analysis of data, upgrade to the full FieldChart analysis software and allow the Field Logger to form a complete data acquisition system!
